The Rankin County Chamber of Commerce recently held their annual Salute to Education event and recognized several Pelahatchie High School representatives. Maddie Grace Walters (left) was the recipient of the Miss Laquita Steen Scholarship, Kim Watson (center) was recognized for being Pelahatchie’s Teacher of the Year, and Payton Sanders (right) was recognized for being a participant in the Rankin Youth Leadership Program.
