Buckle up when you get in, mask up when you get out

  At the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT), safety is, and always will be, our top priority. As 2020 winds down, MDOT reminds the public not to get complacent regarding all safety measures—on state highways, at home and in public. Please consider placing this video message from Central Transportation Commissioner Willie Simmons, reminding the public to buckle up getting in, mask up getting out, into your public service announcement rotation for future use.  

  For the protection of all Mississippians, it is important to think about safety both inside and outside of your vehicle. Buckling up and avoiding distractions are equally as important as wearing a mask and social distancing. Following these simple safety steps could save the life of a loved one.
