Pelahatchie Elementary welcomes families to an enchanted night of learning
Thanks so much to Pelahatchie Elementary School for the invite to attend their Family Instructional Night & Book Fair. Ms. Brenna enjoyed playing games and sharing information about the library with all the families who stopped by.

On Tuesday, November 4, Pelahatchie Elementary welcomed families for its annual Family Instructional Night, this year was themed “An Enchanted Night of Learning.”

The event included themed stations and games for PreK through 6th grade students and their families. Reading, math, science and STEAM stations invited hands‑on participation, and families rotated through activities designed to model at‑home learning strategies.

The Pelahatchie Public Library also attended this event, offering families the opportunity to apply for library cards and learn about community resources. The Scholastic Book Fair was on site, allowing families to browse and purchase books to build home libraries. Additionally, the PTO provided a themed snack for all students, and each student left with a bag of goodies to support continued learning at home.

Pelahatchie Elementary thanks the families who attended this magical event and remains committed to providing a strong partnership among home, school, and the surrounding community!
