Recently, Pelahatchie Elementary School (PES) celebrated its first-ever LEAD graduation. LEAD (Law Enforcement Against Drugs and Violence) helps students learn to make safe choices, build strong character, and become leaders in their school and community. Nearly two years ago PES began looking for additional ways to support students, and that led to bringing the LEAD program into RCSD while continuing with the strong commitment to the DARE program. Together, these programs give students the tools they need to grow and succeed. Congratulations to the first LEAD graduating class! PES is proud of the students and grateful for the educators, law enforcement partners, and families who support them every step of the way.
