Pelahatchie High School has announced its scheduled holidays and student breaks for the 2026-27 school year.
The first school holiday will be Monday, Sept. 7, in observance of Labor Day. Fall break is scheduled for Oct. 5-9, followed by a student holiday and staff development day Oct. 12.
Thanksgiving break will be Nov. 23-27. Christmas break will begin Dec. 21 and continue through Jan. 1, 2027. Students will also have Jan. 4 off while staff members participate in professional development.
Other scheduled holidays include Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Jan. 18 and Presidents Day on Feb. 15. Spring break is set for March 8-12, followed by Easter break March 26 and March 29.
The final listed school holiday of the academic year is Memorial Day on May 31.
