Pelahatchie Ends Losing Streak With Win Over Sebastopol

The Pelahatchie Chiefs got back in the win column Friday night, defeating Sebastopol 32-27 at home.

Pelahatchie entered the game on a three-game losing streak after falling to Enterprise, Clarkdale and Richland. The Chiefs were able to turn things around against Sebastopol and come away with a five-point victory.

The win moves Pelahatchie to 2-3 on the season and gives the Chiefs their first victory since defeating Pisgah in the season opener.

Pelahatchie has now scored 89 points through five games. Both of the Chiefs' wins have come at home.

The Chiefs return to the road Friday night to face West Lincoln before beginning region play against Newton on Oct. 9.

After ending their three-game losing streak, Pelahatchie will look to make it two straight and get back to .500.
