Way to Battle is a non-profit organization that serves as a character education, service learning, and peer support initiative. It uses the organization’s founder stories and “Battle Pup” mascot to teach young children age-appropriate concepts of empathy, resilience, and community kindness.
Reinforcing the foundational message that “No One Battles Alone”, this initiative promotes inclusion, reduces feelings of isolation, and builds a supportive, unified classroom culture. Battle Pups were donated to each of the kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd-grade classrooms. Each classroom named their new classroom pup and have warmly welcomed them into their classroom community.
