Pelahatchie picked up its second straight victory Friday night with a dominant 45-7 road win over West Lincoln.
The Chiefs entered the game coming off a 32-27 victory over Sebastopol and carried that momentum into another strong offensive performance. Pelahatchie has now scored 77 points over its last two games after going through a three-game losing streak earlier in the season.
The win moves Pelahatchie to 3-3 on the year and gives the Chiefs some momentum heading into region play.
Pelahatchie returns home Thursday, Oct. 8, when the Chiefs host Newton in their first region game of the season. With back-to-back wins behind them, the Chiefs will look to keep their recent turnaround going as the schedule shifts into its most important stretch.
